Lemon Buttercream Frosting

I love frosting! But doesn't everyone? This frosting is my favorite lemon buttercream frosting and it can soon be yours too!
I used this frosting on a vanilla cake that I made for mother's day and it was reallllllly goooood! My whole family enjoyed the cake.
Notes:
This frosting is not too sweet (because its better that way).
This recipe makes enough for a thin layer of frosting between each layer, and to cover a 3 layer cake.
You can leave the milk out or add a little more to change the consistency to they way you want it to be.
Before starting make sure the butter is at room temperature to get the correct consistency of your frosting.

Lemon Butter Cream Frosting

Ingredients:
2 sticks and 4tbs butter
2 tsp lemon zest (one lemon)
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
3 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp milk
pinch of salt
1/2 tsp vanilla
Directions:
1. Beat butter in a large bowl.
2. Add powdered sugar in sections so it doesn't fly everywhere.
3. Add the remaining ingredients and beat until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes).
4. Use delicious frosting to frost your favorite cakes or cupcakes.
